CYNTHIA BRADY,

Cynthia
Brady was born and
raised in Massachusetts
and worked in the food
brokerage business as a
Sales and Marketing
Analyst.
When Ms.
Brady moved to Reno,
Nevada, she worked for
the Nevada Legislature
as a Legislative
Attaché. Then she moved
to Las Vegas, went to
work for Brady
Industries as a Sales
Analyst, and has been
associated with Brady
Industries since 1983.
Brady Industries has
been in the maintenance
supply business in Las
Vegas since 1947 and is
one of the top 100
privately owned
companies in Las Vegas.
Ms. Brady
is a past board member
of the Children’s
Advocacy Alliance as
well as the CASA (Court
Appointed Special
Advocate) Foundation
Board and a past
volunteer at Child
Haven.
Ms. Brady
and her husband, Bill,
support community
activities such as:
Children’s Advocacy
Alliance; Little League
and Youth Soccer teams;
CASA Foundation;
Mammovan of Nevada and
have awarded countless
college scholarships to
those in need.
Ms. Brady
attended Northeastern
University in Boston,
Massachusetts. She was
an AAU swim coach for
two years. She and her
husband have seven grown
children and seventeen
grandchildren. She is
interested in family
activities, travel,
politics, boxing, MMA,
physical fitness and
reading.
Governor
Gibbons appointed Ms.
Brady to the Standing
Committee in January
2008 and she was reappointed in
2010. Her term expires
in December 2011.
