Patrick G. Byrne is the Administrative Partner of the Las Vegas, Nevada
office of Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. Mr. Byrne’s practice is concentrated in
commercial and business dispute resolution.
Mr. Byrne is a native of Michigan and was educated at Alma College receiving
his B.A. in 1985, with honors, in History and Business Administration. He
then attended the University of Kentucky obtaining his J.D., with high
distinction, in 1988. While at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Byrne was a
member of the Order of the Coif and was a Member and Editor of the Journal of
Natural Resources and Environmental Law.
Mr. Byrne has been with Snell & Wilmer his entire legal career having first
clerked with the firm while in law school and then joining the firm upon
graduation. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and Arizona. Mr. Byrne was
named in Who’s Who 2004 by In Business Las Vegas. He recently appeared on
the cover of The American Lawyer in the August, 2005 edition, regarding
their story on "Betting on Vegas - Will out-of-town firms bit the jackpot?"
Mr. Byrne is a Board Member, currently serving as President of the Board of
Trustees, of the Las Vegas Boys and Girls Club Foundation. He is also a Life
Member of the Fiesta Bowl, a function of the Arizona Sports Foundation.
On the personal side, Mr. Byrne is married to Janette Bunch Byrne, a native
Nevadan, and the father of 8-month old Seamus Byrne. The Byrnes make their home
at Southern Highlands in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Byrne was elected to serve as the
Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee in December 2011, effective January 1,
2012.
