Committee member Creighton is the Executive Director of the Nevada Subcontractors Association (NSA), a statewide trade association representing the interests of the construction industry. Ms. Creighton has been with the NSA since 2001 and has been an effective advocate for the industry. She focuses her attention on educating lawmakers and candidates at every level with regards to the issues that affect the construction industry, the essential role of subcontractors to Nevada’s economy, and what can be done to ensure subcontractors’ economic vitality.

Ms. Creighton grew up and was educated in Northern Nevada; she now resides in Southern Nevada where she is active in numerous community organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the McCaw School of Mines. She is a former Board member of Class! Publications and has served as a liaison between the construction industry with Habitat for Humanity. Cindy is an avid golfer, as well as an accomplished paper artist enjoying calligraphy and bookmaking.

Ms. Creighton was appointed to the Standing Committee by Governor Sandoval in June 2011. Her term expires in December 2012.
