STEVEN L. DAY, Attorney at Law

Steven earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Marketing and his Master of Business Administration degree from the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah. Steven is a member of the Nevada State Bar and is admitted to practice in all Nevada state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Clark County Bar Association, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association and American Trial Lawyers Association and is also an arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District mandatory arbitration program.

Prior to the practice of law, Steven worked in the banking and securities industries. Steven was an instructor in the Finance Department of the University of Phoenix teaching Advanced Financial Analysis to MBA candidates. He also taught Small Business Development at LDS Business College. Steven has served on the Advisory Board of Directors for Heritage College and is a past lecturer for the Western Utilities Association and National Business Institute. He has authored a number of scholarly articles on subjects ranging from insurance to litigation.

Steven is an active member of many community organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, Henderson City Parks & Recreation (coach) and Green Valley Little League (President).

Mr. Day was appointed to the Standing Committee by the State Bar of Nevada in January, 2006:  reappointed in 2007, 2009 and 2011. His term expires in December, 2013.
