KENNETH
D. GRAY,
Project
Coordinator,
HealthInsight
Ken Gray
was born and raised in
Southern California and
has served in the United
States Air Force and Air
National Guard since
1987. He separated from
Active Duty service in
December 2010 and joined
HealthInsight as a
Project Coordinator.
Shortly
after Ken and his family
moved to Dayton, Nevada,
he deployed to Tallil
Air Base, Iraq and
served as the Group
Superintendent for the
407th Medical
Group. Upon his return,
he was promoted to the
rank of Chief Master
Sergeant (E-9) and
assigned concurrently as
the 152nd
Medical Group
Superintendent and as
the Non-Commissioned
Officer in Charge of the
Nevada National Guard
Counterdrug Task Force.
He again deployed to
Iraq in 2009 where he
served as the Medical
Superintendent for the
447th Air
Expeditionary Group in
Baghdad. During that
deployment he was
instrumental in working
with the United States
Army and the Iraqi
Health Ministry in the
relocation of the 10th
Combat Support Hospital
to Sather Air Base and
the transition of Ibn
Sina Hospital back into
a civilian hospital
serving Baghdad.
Mr. Gray
is a past advisor y
board member of Project
Walkabout for at risk
youth, past Board
President and current
Vice President of
Project Compassion, and
National Executive
Council Member of the
Enlisted Association of
the National Guard of
the United States.
Additionally, he served
on the National
Counterdrug Training
Advisory Council for the
National Guard.
Mr. Gray
and his wife, Kati,
support community
activities such as: the
Northern Nevada Humane
Society; the National
Guard Youth ChalleNGe
Program; Relay for Life;
and various community
projects such as the
development and
dedication of Dayton’s
Patriot Park.
Mr. Gray
attended Regents College
of Albany, New York. He
also attended Chapman
University of Orange,
California where he
completed graduate work
in Organizational
Leadership. He also has
degrees in Health Care
Management and Allied
Health Sciences. He and
his wife have two
daughters, Katelyn and
Hannah, who are both
students in Northern
Nevada. He and his
family are active
camping, sports,
politics, reading and
movie going.
Governor
Sandoval appointed Mr.
Gray to the Standing
Committee in June 2011.
His term expires in
December 2012.
