CHARLES HARVEY, Assistant County Recorder, Clark County

Charles D. Harvey is the Assistant County Recorder in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has worked in the Clark County Government for more than ten years, serving in the Eighth Judicial District Court and the County Recorder’s Office.

A belief in public service runs strong in the Harvey family.

With more than two decades of leadership and management experience, Charles believes he has a personal responsibility to make a positive impact on society. Charles proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He remains active in his community, participating in volunteer activities and several professional organizations.

Charles and his wife have been residents of Las Vegas for more than 17 years. As local business owners of early childhood education facilities, they are dedicated to providing quality programs that supply the tools to cultivate the next generation.

Mr. Harvey was appointed to the Standing Committee by Governor Guinn in January, 2007. His term expires December 2008.
