BERNARD B. ZADROWSKI, Attorney at Law
Bernard B. Zadrowski is
a Chief Deputy D.A. in
the criminal division of
the Clark County
District Attorney’s
Office. Since 2005, he
has been chief
prosecutor and
supervisor of the Check
Fraud Division.
Mr.
Zadrowski was raised in
Colorado Springs,
Colorado. From 1984 to
1985, he was appointed
to and briefly attended
the United States Air
Force Academy, going on
to graduate from the
University of Colorado
at Boulder in 1988 with
a B.S. in Business
Administration. While at
the University of
Colorado, Mr. Zadrowski
was treasurer of his
social fraternity, Delta
Tau Delta, and a member
of the Delta Sigma Pi
Business Fraternity.
Armed
with a business degree
and an appetite to
conquer Wall Street,
Bernie moved to New
York, New York where he
studied theater at the
prestigious American
Academy of Dramatic
Arts. He graduated in
1991, earning a spot
with the AADA Acting
Company. During the next
few years, Bernie lived
and worked in the Big
Apple. Turning his
attention towards the
law in 1994, Bernie left
New York City and began
his legal studies at the
University of Denver
College of Law. While
there, Bernie
represented his class as
Senator in the Student
Bar Association, and was
an active member of the
Hispanic Law Students
Association. He
graduated in 1997 in the
top 11% of his class. On
the day after graduation
Bernie loaded up his
truck and trailer, and
headed west to Las Vegas
to begin his career as a
prosecutor.
Since
making Las Vegas his
home, Mr. Zadrowski has
been very active in the
legal community. He was
appointed to the
Southern Nevada
Disciplinary Board in
2001, and currently
serves as Vice Chairman
of that board. In 2002,
he was appointed by the
State Bar as an ad
hoc member to the
Judicial Selection
Commission.
Additionally, Bernie was
elected and served as
President of the Latino
Bar Association of
Southern Nevada, and
Vice President of the
Clark County
Prosecutor’s
Association.
Bernie
is an active member of
the Las Vegas South
Sunset Rotary Club. He
enjoys his part-time job
as an adjunct professor
of criminal law at the
College of Southern
Nevada, where he has
been educating students
for the last ten years
in the areas of Nevada
criminal law, juvenile
law, and criminal
procedure. He and his
wife Shannan have two
children. He was
appointed by the State
Bar to the Standing
Committee on Judicial
Ethics and Election
Practices in January,
2007; reappointed in
2009 and 2011. His term
expires in December
2012.
